The HONOR 70, the company’s new mid-range 5G phone, is one of the new products officially released to the market today as part of a larger launch of many new products. The launch was part of HONOR’s plan to bring out many new products at once. Even though the HONOR 70 Series has three more models in total, including the Pro and Pro+ models, only the regular model made its debut in Malaysia today. Even though there are four other models in the series, this is the case.
The newest smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, a 6.67-inch OLED display with native Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and curved edges. It also comes pre-assembled with all of these features. The Malaysian specs include:
- 8 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM).
- 256 gigabytes of storage.
- A pre-installed operating system with Magic UI 6.1 on top of Android 12 as the base.
For the main camera on the HONOR 70 specs, which has a resolution of 54 megapixels and a maximum aperture of 1.9 millimeters, the Sony IMX800 sensor and its accompanying f/1.9 lens are essential for making high-quality images. The manufacturer quickly pointed out that this phone is the first to have the sensor and that the 1/1.49-inch sensor is much bigger than the sensors in many flagship phones, like the iPhone 13, the Samsung Galaxy S22+, and the OPPO Find X5 Pro.
In addition, the back camera module had a depth camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels and an aperture of 2.4, as well as an ultra-wide camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels and an aperture of 2.2, which could also be used for macro photography from as close as 2.5 centimeters away. The ultra-wide angle camera module had both of these cameras. The screen of the HONOR 70 has a punch-hole camera with a 32-megapixel resolution and a 2.4-millimeter aperture. This makes it a great place to take selfies. This camera is in the middle of the screen’s top half.
The phone has a battery with a capacity of 4800 milliampere hours. This is one of its most important features (mAh). The phone’s maker didn’t say how long the battery would last, but this battery is said to be able to power the phone for a whole day. The HONOR 70 comes with a 66W SuperCharge charger, which can charge the phone to 60% of its full capacity in just 20 minutes. Because the phone can charge at such a high rate, this is possible. When you buy the phone, it comes with this charger for the battery.
The HONOR 70 can now be pre-ordered for RM1,999 starting tonight at 9:30 PM through HONOR Malaysia’s online shop and its official Lavada and Shoppe shops. The time to pre-order will last until all of the devices are sold. The gadget can be Crystal Silver, Emerald Green, or Midnight Black, and users can choose the color they like best. Early adopters will get a free pair of HONOR Earbuds 2 Lite, an HONOR phone cover, and an extra year of warranty when they buy the device from HONOR Stores or one of the many authorized dealers in Malaysia. In addition, they will get an extra year of coverage for their device’s warranty.
