High pressure nozzles
These simple apparently insignificant parts are what make the whole high pressure system work. Pressure washer nozzles have a small spray hole that can be sized to produce the required pressure at a certain flow rate. This hole is a water flow restriction. Once your pump’s flow is forced through this restriction, pressure builds up. Only now you have a pressure washer system. Pressure washer nozzles with the hole closest to the pump feature provide maximum efficiency. The high pressure nozzle is a much more important element of a power washer than most people realize. High pressure hose

Less expensive hoses are covered with a thermoplastic material, while better hoses have a rubber coating. Most hoses are manufactured with burst ratings four times their rated working pressure. Pressure washer hose design

Outer cover – the best covers are rubber. Thermoplastic protected hoses are popular on pressure washers designed to be marketed at an economical price. If high quality is important to you, I’d be skeptical of products that come standard with thermoplastic hoses.
