An Overview of How to Save Thousands on Your Annual Food Bills.

As the cost of groceries for the ordinary family continues to rise, I decided to investigate what has been called “the number one money-saving product” by a leading home economics website.

Before seeing my wife consistently save money each week with this tool, I was naturally dubious of items that claimed to do so.

Here are my observations after reading the e-book about the hundreds of dollars in food savings achieved by Lana Dorazio.

  • To begin, Lana claims that unwise grocery shopping causes the typical household to spend over $200 annually. Considering all the data, a $19 e-book that can save you $2,500 year looks like a steal.
  • And I was under the impression that if I used coupons and shopped at Costco, I could cut my costs even further. Since I’ve always taken pleasure in being a frugal bargain hunter, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when I realized I was making purchases I hadn’t even considered because of all the new information Lana had dropped on me.
  • I, like many other people, discovered that I had been duped by the supermarkets’ deceptive advertising strategies.
  • Most people, myself included, fall into the two categories described by Lana on the product sales page: those who think they’ve already saved money, and those who don’t know how much money they can save. The information on multiple offers and prices alone is worth the price of the e-book, and most people who read it will get a slap on the wrist.
  • In particular, I was interested in the supplementary material. The interviews with the store managers and price lists for the various products were really helpful. The included price list is a helpful component. The interviews shedding light on the inner workings of the food industry are also a fascinating read that supports much of the information in the eBook and prompts you to reevaluate your food spending habits.

If you want to put in a little bit of money and get a lot back, this is the way to go. I find it hard to believe that anyone who applies these methods and details won’t be able to cut costs where they need to, and I dare everyone not to mentally condemn the wasteful practices of other consumers when they see their money being thrown out the window of the Indian grocery store.
