Probably best RPG turn based game for the SNES overall and the idea you can pick many different characters such as like Dwarf males or Alien or others ones.
Alien means you don’t need to buy or get weapons or weapons or armour overall that alone can save you money and time you may think weapons or armour will give you perks that is true but getting up another level will give you better stats than most equipment in the game overall so just spending like 30 minutes or so going up a level can give you all the perks you need to win this game. https://www.techcrums.com/gamecube-controller/
When you start the game at the castle where you see all your competitors in the game but you can team up with one of these other player-based charters for me picking the Alien I would recommend would be the Dwarf since he can help heal you and also give good attack or defense when against enemies plus good health.
Starting a game I am also fairly sure most of you will get killed at least once since the starting baddies can give you pretty high damage at level 1 but when you get to like level 2 to 3 it gets easier overall and you are less likely to die from that stage onwards.
Buying items can be fun or interesting such as you need potion 1 to give you around 5 units of health back but health potion 2 gives you like 100 health boosts so you will find better versions of items you can find overall. NFT
You can Mherb which is designed to boost your MP which can be useful when you try to fight enemies with good guard but magic attacks like fire can allow you to win against the first boss easily you need magic.
Here you can see the Dwarf character’s face of against the first boss which looks like demonic like monster which is the both hard and interesting first boss.
You need to be at least level 7 to win here if not you will probably lose here since the attacks from this monster can get you killed even at like level 6 fairly easy unless you got very good to say amour or attack weapon from like later on the game which you can’t really get here overall.
Picking another character is both fun and exciting overall you need at least one physical and one magic to get the best chance of competing in the game easily.
Your main goal here is to collect the runes and then give them to the king once you have done all of that overall.
When you complete the first goal you get the key to open the Earth Gate here is where it starts to get a lot harder such you will fight against monsters who can give you big attacks and be able to health unlimited amount overall meaning you need to try and take down the undead monsters as soon as possible.
