Where To Eat
If you’re looking for delicious food and beverages, we have a variety of restaurants at each of our three locations. For an authentic Mexican meal, stop by Casa de Bandidos in Sacramento. If you are craving a burger and fries or just some ice cream then find your way to T-Bonz for a tasty treat! Whether you want pizza, fish tacos, or some chicken wings we can satisfy any appetite here at Raging Waters. Wild Water Adventure Park also offers some great choices with fun outdoor bars like Blackbeard’s Bar and Grill that offer gourmet sandwiches and salads with scenic views of the water park from their upstairs patio!
Preparing for Your Trip
1. Arrive early so you have plenty of time to see the entire park. You can go back at a later date if there are still parts of the park you haven’t seen.
2. Bring water and snacks. Rides make people thirsty, but they can also take a lot out of your body!
3. Wear sunscreen, keep reapplying it throughout the day, and don’t forget SPF clothes for your skin on exposed areas like your neck and hands. If you’re planning to be in the water for long periods of time, apply more sunscreen liberally every hour or two.
4. Pack a beach towel in case you want to dry off after coming out of the water or heading back from lunch (rather than using paper towels).
What Should I bring?
Thinking about your packing list can help you figure out what to bring. If you’re visiting in the summer, pack sunscreen, sunglasses, and sandals. Many of the rides at Raging Waters are outside, so a bathing suit is also essential. Soaking in one of our two heated pools? Bring flip-flops or sandals. And don‡’t forget the hats and towels!
Arriving at the park – here are some things you should know before entering
No matter what you want to do, the first thing you’ll do when you arrive at the park is purchase a ticket. Ticket prices vary by season. At peak times, waterpark tickets cost $52 for adults and $36 for children aged 3-9 while off-peak tickets are less expensive at $42 and $27 respectively. Unless you’ve purchased online in advance, get your tickets as soon as possible because lines get long during peak hours.
Season passes offer unlimited visits between May 1st and September 30th, 2018 with other restrictions based on the type of pass purchased so be sure to understand them before deciding on which one best suits your needs.

Stay Cool Tips/Advice
With so many rides and attractions, it can be tough to know what you should prioritize your time on. The best piece of advice we can give is that the water park will always be open so don’t feel pressured or rushed into spending your day at a certain section. Instead, soak up the atmosphere and try not to worry about getting wet before heading over to one of our must-visit attractions. You’ll want lots of sunscreen and plenty of food throughout the day since this will provide you with more energy for activities like rope courses, wave pools, and more!
Additional Tips/Advice
For Californians who love the water and everything else that comes with it, visiting a water park is always a fun summer activity. Of course, there are plenty of options out there in the Golden State. In Southern California, one has got to go to Knott’s Soak City if they are looking for a day of relaxation. There is even an area for kids that makes this attraction the perfect place for any type of family with children under 13 years old. The weather in Los Angeles is often warm and sunny, making Knott’s Soak City one of the best spots for an afternoon of refreshing fun!
Our Personal Experience & Best Advice
Raging Waters is the best water park near Los Angeles. It is easy to get too and has lots of different types of rides. The prices are pretty average and they offer discounts on certain days. The lines were shorter than Knott’s soak city, but I think it would be worth it because there were more rides available. We loved the waterslides that you can choose how many slides you want because at some other parks you have to buy a package or something like that.
